Modeling with Ford...?

A couple of weeks ago a man came up to me at a mall and offered me a job modeling with Ford Modeling Agency. I really don't know what to expect.
they want me to supply them with a full portfolio to their sunset office in LA.

I'm a guy and I live in orange county, CA.

Where is a good place to get my portfolio pictures taken?

Will I have to travel much for jobs?

And most importantly, what should i expect to get paid?

WOW awesome! you must be extremely attractive for them offer you something like that. Most people go through an extreme audition process and have to work blood sweet and tears for them to be where you are at! Trust me, i would know aha.
1) Depending if they want you pictures to be professional or not professional. If they want your pictures to be professional, then the photographer will help you. but if the dont, then have a friend take a pictures of you underneath some type of shade on a sunny day. the lighting will be perfect and it will look semi-professional. mix up the poses. take them up close, far away .. etc.

2) depending on what type of job you are getting. you will have to travel mostly to LA, hollywood for photoshoots, fashionshows and if your career really sets of, new york and other places. if were you traveling is too far for you to drive, then the agency will pay for your plane ticket there and back

3) dont worry about how much you get paid... it depends on the shoot, fashion show, or the AD. and normally it is up the in hundreds or thousand when you start out.

good luck, and i really think you should stick to this. im jealous that someone walked up to you like that ! stickk with it, and if they ask you to pay money. SCAM. (except if its for paying for photos to show them)
