alright, im 20. male. in chicago.
always wanted to be a model. so finally i got some headshots and went to ford & elite modeling agencies... because they were supposedly "the best". well.
this is what happend.
i went to ford.
sat there for about 20 minutes with a bunch of other guys.
and this woman comes in. she sits down next to me and says. "wow, you really look great".. im like... thanks. she goes... "i've got an eye for talent and you look great.. have you heard of elite model management?" im like yes. and she's like.. well do you have a pen? i've go the number here. she says. elite is alot better than ford. and they cate to models like you...?.... i said. no thankyou, im not interested. she goes okay. suit yourself.
(WHAT THE FUCK???, WAS I JUST TESTED? IS'NT THAT LAME??)
AND THEN this girl comes in, she takes pictures of us, and she says she was interested in two guys and the rest could leave. (includeing me) yikes! i was turned down, o well !.... but the whole time i was there. people were walking in and out of that office and i think they made it seem like it was such a busy agency...??? well anyways... i think it was all a set-up.. and i think thats sad.
second story... (i go to elite.. not cuz the lady told me to cuz i wanted to lol. well a guy walks in on a couple of us sitting in the room and he explains this long long speach.. about how we would have to pay $800 for comp cards and other crap....and this supposed guys that sat next to me stood up and said "man thats great, those are great prices, everywhere else is really expensive for comp cards. and pix.. im like.... (((o man!!! not again...??? what a fuckin set up..i couldnt belive it.)) well anyways he only picked this asian girl that was there and he told us to have a nice day. yada yada yada... dude i couldnt fuckin belive this?? how sad is this shit that these lame companies have to make it seem like there soooo busy.. and then you have these payed actors coming in and talking to you as if they are random people just trying to get to know you??...
i mean... i know the industry is hard as fuck to get into.. but then what else are you supposed to do???? get discovered randomly on the street like those stories on t.v.?? lol.... im really wondering if other people besides me have had these weird things happen to them. ????
