Mobile carriers: AT&T vs Sprint?

i currently have an iphone 3gs and i'm on a family plan with my mom but i need to get an individual plan when my contract is up. and at&t is really expensive. so is at&t service really worth the price difference? or do you think i shouldn't notice a difference with sprint
 
I HIGHLY suggest www.billshrink.com you can put in your info and it will look at your plan and usage and compare with the other networks to find out what will save you the most for what you actually use.

I did it and ended up going with tmobile because their data plan/smartphone etc.. was cheaper per month, i opted OUT of text messaging since i have a smart phone and use google voice (free app) to text msg people with my google voice # for free instead of paying an extra $10 a month.

However AT&T just bought tmobile so im not sure how the rates will change by next year.

Anyway thats my suggestion, its awesome! :)
