MMS for Ocean on Cricket

Is there still no way to get Pic and Video messaging working on the Helio Ocean on the Cricket network. It's been a couple months since I've checked so I thought I'd ask. Thanks

I had my helio ocean flashed to cricket while I was back in my home town the only functions that are there are text messages and cell service. I would thank anyone that can help I have searched the forums over and over without success thanks!!

u can edit alot of the wap settings using ##data# and typing spc in.

that would be great if we could figure it out someone here on the forums has one for sale for $75 and i would like to get it but only if i can get mms and wap, also this is kinda unrelated but does anyone know how to change your wap settings on the vx8550 without a cable? i had a cable changed the paramitable1.fil and everything was all good accidentally reset browser settings and now it wont let me edit them in the ##program8550 menu like i could after changing paramitable1. any help would be greatly appreciated. im gonna look into the static ip will post findings later

here is a list of static ips that i found all untested as i dont have an ocean yet:

192.168.255.255

192.168.0.26

192.168.1.1

192.168.1.10

192.168.0.161

Those look like MS Windows home networking static IPs. He means WAP gateway static IPs for Cricket, which won't start with 192.168.x.x.

Try setting the homepage to the website http://www.accuweather.com, which is the only site I know of that will work on a phone without any wap gateway/proxy. If you're still getting an error message visiting that site, then you're most likely still not connected.

The best way to check your connection is to tether the phone and use it as a dial-up modem. Then you can set your proxy on your computer, that is, if you can establish a connection.

I have been tried manytime
Setting always revert when phone restart,

Phone detected as modem ( diagnostic modem also work well ), but
phone says "tethered data mode is unavailable" when trying to dial up

I have also tried changes nvm_data (NVM), but not happened difference also.

QPST cannot be applied to change MIP to SIP, ( always disconnect when reading of data),
is there any other way to be able to change it?

What is MIP and SIP? nvm_data is found where in the EFS?
