MLB 09 won't play past certain game in season?

I'm in my 5th or 6th season, about halfway through the season. When I get to one particular game vs Milwaukee the friggin game cuts off and the PS3 screen appears. This happens every time I attempt to play, whether I play myself or attempt to simulate the season. Any ideas?
