Mixing Religion (Chinese Folk Lore & Christianity)?

I'm a chinese folk lore practitioner (family religion), but i want also want to be a practitioner of christianity. It is okay to mix the two? (Please no flaming)

And will the gods curse me for mixing in another religion into theirs?
