Im interested in purchasing a Second Generation Mitsubishi Eclipse GS/GSX. My primary Usage is to drive me from college to home during breaks and to and from work. Its also just for driving places with friends and such. This will be my second car, my first being a 1996 Cadillac STS, and want to know what mods are available to it/which are the best to start out with.
Due to insurance costs, the debate between a GS and GSX are currently swaying. Yes I understand the GSX is turbocharged and has a better tuning platform, but at the moment that whole thing is still up for changes. This question really goes out to any 2G Eclipse owners out there that have finely tuned their car and have useful tips on how to make my car faster.
Anything and everything will be appreciated. Im not looking for exterior mods at the moment. Rims for sure but other than that, everything under the hood is what Im after now. My funds are tight as well so the easiest and cheapest to tune would be more appreciated. Thank you.
