After inquiring about camping in Missouri, I found that camp fires are illegal. I do know in Missouri Conservation areas they are legal however. For people who stay at a MO State Park, how do you have fun.

How do you roast hotdogs or marshmallows, or tell ghost stroies, or all that traditional camping stuff without a campfire?

It's not just Missouri.Everywhere you go the enjoyment has been takin away. The reasons are mainly because of two things.

People in general have no respect anymore.
Government wants to control everything.

I live in the country and cannot stand the cities.I can watch the deer play on my property, they even want to play with my dogs.Every day I can have fires (unless a burn ban is on),it's like camping every day.I chose that and it costs me but it's worth it.

I have a joke: The people in the city's idea of being with nature is sitting at MacDonalds watching the birds eat french fries.
