Missouri rock music crew, Local band question.

I'm from Ohio but this past week, I was driving from California with a friend, to Ohio. As I was driving through missouri, I heard a song that sounded pretty damn good. I don't know the name, only that it was a modern rock song. The only part I could remember was something like, "I'm sick inside"....

I thought I heard the station (can't remember which) say that it was a local band. Does anyone know which song I'm talking about and can you help me find more information on it?
