Missing fonts and different fonts in Photoshop CS3 after loading on my another pc.?

I've loaded CS3 on both of my computers at home and one pc has more fonts than the other...some are different...some are missing.
Does it depend on what fonts and how many I have in Microsoft Word on each pc? I'm at a loss why the fonts are different or missing, etc.

My computer's OS are Vista and XP if that means anything...
Photoshop comes with fonts, does it not? Then, if I load the same Photoshop CS3 on both pc's why don't they have the same fonts?

Do the pc's draw fonts from different resources? Word, etc?

Basically, that is my question.
 
C:\WINDOWS\Fonts

is where you install new font. 2 different machines will have different fonts so my suggestion is get all the fonts off of each machine on a usb drive and install the fonts following the path above...

Then go FILE > INSTALL NEW FONT

and this should set you right.
