I have just been to see the new Miss Potter film- I enjoyed it very much. ( although it is in part fictional ...having read previously about her life story) not much was filmed in the Lake district either! still well worth watching .

So am I.
I thought I read that it was panned by the critics, though I like to make up my own mind.

I saw it yesterday and really loved it. It's well made, well acted (though saw B Jones now and again) and lovely to look at.

Rather panned by some critics but what do they know. Keep reading in 'end of year' summaries about how great Little Miss Sunshine was-a yawn of a film!

I saw the trailer and it looks so good, i remember watching a childrens tv series when i was little about peter the rabbit, if i am not mistaken i think it used to be on ITV-1 in the afternoon once they shown it in the evening around 6-7pm.

It was my other half's choice of film and I must say I was not looking forward to it (and, indeed, was trying to work out which action film to inflict on her). I was, to put it mildly, pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the film. The acting was good, the cinematography spectacular and the soundtrack excellent. It was 90 minutes extremely well spent. I must be mellowing, getting old or both.

I saw the film on a flight yesterday, and got as far as when in the Lake District with her parents, and separated from her fiance, she received a letter from his sister, and it didn't look like good news.
Then the airline's inflight entertainment system was switched off for landing, so if anyone can help with a summary of what happened next, that would be great.
