Left the park riding along the River came to a low water crossing and stopped. What do ya think Honey? she said Go for it! Man I thought Ice was slick. Made it half way across then busted my arse. Now the Bike is facing the way the River runs and every time I try to pick up the Bike the wheels just keep sliding. The crossing is one lane and after the show for the other people got it back up and out on dry land. Derby Cover & Clutch Handle replaced

Probably the most time consuming stuff up was to break an EZ out off in the riders right footboard rear mount bolt of which the head was broken off flush. Have a look at an EVO softail frame -- being the access issues to get to this bolt noting the only way to get to it is from the dead front of the bolt hole.

I tried everything to get it out-- drill (waste of time even with the correct hardened bit), heat, chisel and combinations of all the above 10 times over. In the process of using heat I melted the clutch cable and had to buy another one.

Finally welded a bead into the center of the nut through to the flush stud then turned the broken bolt out with a crescent wrench. Tapped the hole for the next size bolt and finally good to go.

After a weekend nap, decided a beer run would be good on my sportser parked out back. Started out headed left turn & bike & I tipped right over. Luckily it was in grass, so no damage. Yep I had forgotten that I used the fork lock. I got very lucky to learn a cheap lesson without witnesses. The other dumb thing as a new rider, cruising with brights on. A rider ahead hand- signaled me but i didn't know why at the time.

I installed the Harley parade fan and got the lenale horn relocation kit mounted up front as far as I could. First big
bump it put a dent in the back of my front fender

Bought my first Harley in 02, a brand new Heritage Classic. Figured an easy place to hang the gremlin bell would be above the front fender. Well, kept hearing a clunking sound & after I saw the dent & paint chip, I took it off. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. Girlfriend bought me a nice gremlin bell, so I'm looking for a place to hang it on my 07 SG. Well, guess where I hung it, sigh. I had her watch it as I compressed the forks in the driveway, & she said it had plenty of clearance. Oh well, I've heard dents add character.

Been driving a box truck for work for 15yrs, but 2 yrs ago was driving and in a hurry, ran through the Mcdonalds drive thru, yep with the box truck, next thing I know I hear bang and there is wood falling on my hood, and ofcoarse the place was very busy and everybody was looking.. DOHHHHHH

Some years back, while painting the pop-up camper with industrial strength Rust Oleum,,,,, instead of going in the side door to mix another cup, i pulled open the bay door instead. Speckeled up my Lowrider and HER Vivid black Sportster with Almond Rust Oleum. Shhhh, there is still some on her Sporty....

Then while drinking beer with my neighbor, bull-shitin, and changing the oil in my Lowrider, I rinsed the oil tank out real good.
