I've done so many, that I could write a book. 1. Forgot to put the kickstand down, at least twice. 2. Using to much front brake on slow turns, at least twice more like ten.
3. Rode off with saddlebags lids open, at least three times(twice in same day). The list goes on and on. I guess anyone that hasn't done something dumb, most likely don't ride much.

I installed a set of Hog Tunes speakers in the front fairing and installed a long screw into a short hole. With only a little resistance it came right through the front of the inner fairing. I almost fainted but now I laugh at the 1/8th" mark that no one has ever noticed.
 
Here's mine...A group of us rode to dinner one night.

While leaving one guy in the group dropped his Ultra. We helped him pick it up and I was thinking about him and got back on my bike and started to ride away.

I started hearing horns blowing and I looked back and my friends were trying to tell me that I left my wife standing in the parking lot. Well, red faced I went back and picked her up. To this day my friends keep bringing this up.
 
Man I don't feel so bad now.

One of my many screwups. I was taking the front fairing off, like I have down so many times to adjust that freakin bullcrap Hawg Wired amp. I had always put a towel on the front fender to protect it, but never had a problem. So this time I guess I was in a hurry (or most likely just plain forgot, I am getting old) to cover the fender.

Well this time the plug on the light was slightly harder to take off and pulling on the plug with one hand and holding the fairing with the other hand..................pop off came the plug and I dropped the fairing on the fender. Slight dent, right on top of the fender.

On my Fat Boy I had just bought a brand new windshield and was putting it on for the first time, they are kinda hard the frist few times. Well I didn't notice my jacket was only zipped up half way and when I leaned on the windshield the zipper put a nice 3" scratch right in the middels of a new $400 windshield. Ever since then I never do anything with the bike with a jacket with a zipper on, a belt on, or watch or rings on.
 
Was fillin up my brand new vivid black Ultra Limited and spilled a drop of gas on the tank. What would you do? I got a paper towel and cleaned it up. Yup...scratches on the tank.

Duhhhhh. Early morning, no Monster in me yet. wasn't thinking.
 
Why only one story? I have SOOOOO many!

Lost my glasses (brand new prescriptions) riding into Glacier...
Overtorqued bolts on primary cover on the Sporty...
Refilled oil bag on the Sporty without plugging the drain line back into the nipple on the battery box...
Or double-dumping the Road King in my buddy's driveway???

If I only get one story which one, which one?
