It will probably cause less stomach irritation if you take it during the day.

However, I have to ask, have you tried other treatments first? Responsible dermatologist prescribe risky oral medications only for severe cases of acne that don't respond to other treatments.
 
I took it for years during the day and had good results.

I would caution about the long term use of this medication. I was on it for about 10 years for acne--from my teens to twenties. When I had my wisdom teeth out, they were black. They were healthy, but they had formed black because I was on the medicine while they were forming. You never really know exactly what medications are doing to your body.
