Minocin antibiotics and NAUSEA

i have been on the minocin antibiotics for 4 days now..and i am experiencing some major nausea.

almost to the point of vomiting

i was just wondering if this is normal and if it will ever go away.

its hard to decide between having better skin and not being nauseous .. because my skin has significantly cleared up in just the 4 days of use.
 
I haven't tried that one but I took doxycycline once and ending up in the ER, unable to stop vomiting. I did get a little recession in my acne shortly after, but it was nowhere NEAR worth it.
 
Since you have only been on minocycle for 4 days, your body is still getting used to it. I encourage you to give it a couple more days or even a week.

When I started minocycline I was extremely dizzy and off-balance. I could not get up fast or turn corners walking without swaying. I must have looked drunk it was so bad! But I promise you, that for me, it subsided quickly.

If you are only taking it once a day, try taking it before bed. Give it a little bit longer--your body is just getting used to the medicine.

If you have any concerns about if the nausea is normal or not, ask your pharmacist.
