mini bike carberator 3.5 hp briggs and straton?

iv got a mini bike and the engine runs and all. but the only way it stays running is is i spray starting fluid in it and keep the choke on. i tryed cleaning the carb. but still the same thing. gapped the spark plug to specs.
 
Most likely, the high doses of starting fluid has reduced the compression on the engine. You may need to buff the cylinders and replace the rings. With the throttle completely open, pull the starting chord slowly. You should feel a very distinct amount of resistance during the compression stroke. If possible, find another similar engine that runs well and compare the difference between the two engines. You may also use a compression gauge and find the specs for that engine.
 
it is not getting fuel. I would think about replacing the fuel lines. Very inexpensive. Might have a tear in the diaphram.
 
try changing the fuel filter,draining the carby float bowl and tuning the carby.sounds like a fuel delivery problem.OR try a separate fuel supply,eg hose from a can of fuel straight to the carby gravity fed and if that works go back and do the first lot I mentioned
