Mindhunters

Can i recommend this film, to anyone whos after a good saturday rental. I dont know how it slipped through the net and went un-noticed at the cinema, but the film is superb a great thriller from the start.

I noticed Val Kilmer, Christian Slater, LL Cool J and Jonny Lee Miller. It looked pretty good, i guess it was released when there was a lot of cinema releases and wasn't on of the chosen few.

The fact that it was on the shelf at Miramax for about three years before getting a token US release might have had something to do with it as well. It certainly didn't get a London cinema release, making it very unlikely it got shown elsewhere in the country. (The Great Raid is another Miramax and/or Dimension movie that gathered so much dust before it was released and bombed that I can almost guarantee it'll skip British cinemas.)

It never got a cinema release as Mindhunters was released straight to DVD!

It's a pretty good movie, dunno what happened for it to vanish into obscurity though, with a cast like that!
