Military Wives w/kids or wives with early working husbands with kids?

When you had your newborn, how did the baby's crying affect his sleeping schedule? My husband is in the Army and he sleeps by 9pm and wakes up by 4am. I am afraid of the baby keeping him up.
 
that's the breaks.you think he gets any breaks at war.it's alll part of being a parent.you'll get through it.men can sleep through anything.
 
Well, my husband has been in Afghanistan and hasn't yet met his daughter, but we talked about it & it's just something he'll have to deal with if she wakes him up - he's a parent too. I'm going to try my best to let him sleep as much as he can, but if it happens - it happens. It's nobody's fault & there really isn't much you can do, other than go to another room.
