I am 32 yrs old with a B.A. and just scored a 98 on my ASVAB. I have a clean criminal and medical record. However, about three years ago, I had a medical marijuana Rx for a year. It wasn't for any serious medical condition...I told the doc I had "mild anxiety disorder" (which I dont have) and he gave me the scrip and that was that. None of this was done through any health insurance...I paid for it all myself.
I don't know if this would come up on medical records...I don't know how extensive their search is. I haven't told my recruiter yet and they haven't asked, either.
I have called several recruiters from different areas and they seemed to say that as long as I got a note from the dr. saying I no longer had the "disorder" and my pee was clean, I would be OK, but I wanted to see what others thought before telling my recruiter here.
