Ok, so I leave for Army Basic Training (Active Duty) on January 4, 2011 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. My girlfriend leaves for Army Basic Training (Reserves) on January 5, 2011 at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. We really want to make this work, but we arent quite sure how. We really like each other, and we know its going to be hard, so right now we are just trying to figure out the best way for us to stick together. I am trying to convince her to go active duty so she can move with me wherever i go once we get married... but she wants to go to college more... HELP!
