Military Pilots and hay fever?

From some sources, I am hearing that hay fever will disqualify someone from being a pilot. From others I am hearing that it does not matter. I do not know which one to believe. Who can I talk to about this that wont jeopardize my future? I don't have it that bad. Just a mild case.
 
My recruiter briefed me before MEPS.. Asked if I had/have asthma and i said i did, but not anymore.. and i was running 5 miles a day with ease...
He said let me ask you again.. Do you have asthma or chronic bronchitis? I said chronic bronchitis... Your encouraged to lie... everyone does... half our troops had to.... no biggie.
