This is gonna be long but i really need some help. Okay, first when i got to my unit i went to a nutritionist to help me lose five pounds, so i could pass tape. I got blood work done which came back showing i had hypothyroidism and they put me on thyroid medications.I was told this would make it hard for me to lose weight and that i may have hair loss. Over the course of a year I went to the doctor for shortness of breath and they said i had asthma, again i went for my skin they gave me a cream. Ive went for several different things like depression& fatigue. About three months ago i started passing out and the doctors couldn't find anything so they referred me to mental health for the depression and said my pass n out was due to stress. Once while i was in internal medicine my levels were checked and found to be low so he increase my dose and moved on. Now a few months later my hair is falling out, I did more intense digging and found that everything i had ever been to doctor for was signs that my medication wasn't working. Now over the process of a year and a half my command wants to chapter me for APFT failure which i truly think was bc of my thyroid issues. I went to the doc today and she confirmed that if my level haven't been controlled that it probably played a huge part in my performance. where should i go form here to keep my career, what actions should i take. my doctors keep giving me the run around about lab tests and the doc that put them in for me last time is gone. HELP!!!
