I'm applying for some law enforcement jobs, as well as enlisting in the reserves for either coast guard or air force.
In a previous police test 4 years ago, I admitted to using cocaine once because they were going to be testing around the time anyway. It was an isolated incident, I have two college degrees and a ton of other experience. I know for the military I have to fill out an SF-86. In their background check, will they talk to previous places you only applied at like this police department? And find out the reason you got denied at the time? What is your suggestions.
