A funeral flag is very common, it is simply a larger flag than most people use at home. I believe they are 5'x8'.

If you have all the paper work and go through the proper channels, the military will bring a flag to the funeral. You don't buy it and give it to them. It's usually a flag he's served under at one point or from something special.
