Military Deployment (Wedding date moved up!); Wedding loans?

We are paying for the wedding ourselves, but originally planned to save up enough to pay for it, and have the wedding in October 2010.

But now my fiance is deploying to Afghanistan in December, so we are pushing up the wedding date to this November (2009).

We are planning to scale the wedding down (booo), but we will have to take out a loan to pay for it.

Any tips on wedding loans or personal loans?
Is there a difference between wedding loans and personal loans?
Website/Bank/Loan suggestions?

Honestly, i think that is somewhat crazy..if it were me I would scale it down rather than go into my marriage with debt on our heads..loans are very hard to get in this economy especially for such a reason and also why would you not want to be the responsible bride and say there is a better way to do this? Yeah i now the military has security to a certain point but honestly they don't make a lot of money..so I would be willing to downscale or make some major changes to accommodate the party..my fiance' and I promised one another if we can't so it debt free it's not worth it...and we own houses, cars, businesses and all..it is just a better way to do it financially..we don't believe in debt for things such as this we feel like pay for it and enjoy it...
