CSAR (Search & Rescue) events are typically held by the Air Force. We use HC-130P, A-10, HH-60G, etc. typically for that type of mission. As an enlisted personnel you wont be able to fly the planes but you could still go Imagery Analysis, Radio Op, Loadmaster, etc. Also, there are also the Elite of the Elite - USAF Spec Ops: Pararescue, Combat Controller, and TAC-P. Majority of our Spec Ops teams are used for CSAR missions.

As for Police, you could be Security Forces. Its not a bad job, but you will likely be cruising around the base handing out tickets. Some bases may even have you stationed at a missile silo all shift long. It depends on the mission of the base.
 
i want to join the military next year im just stuck on what branch i want to join the air force or the army or the marines i want to do something with police or search and rescue? any ideas and why
