Military before or after college?

I am in high school and i don't really know what i want to do after high school other than be a Marine. I want to go to college but i don't know where and for what. Also my uncle was a Marine and he told me that the government doesn't pay for all colleges just some. So that leads me to my question, would it be better to be a Marine before college or after college?

The army will pay for any collage, if they can use it to help them. otherwise they will give you an allotted amount to spend at the collage.
i would go to college first (that's my plan) because you automatically become a Lt.
