proper terms. My son is having an Army party and I am not familiar with Army/Military terminology. Some ideas I have seen for invites have this wording:
EXAMPLE 1:
Attention Soldiers: You are hereby ordered to report to:....Dress for action, wear your fatigues. (I don't know what fatigues are)
EXAMPLE 2: Attention soldiers you have been recruited to help celebrate .....'s 8th birthday. report for duty at fort...
EXAMPLE 3: Commander (invitees name) your mission if you choose to accept it is to help celebrate ...'s 8th birthday.
A few more questions:
How would I properly write the date August 8 and the time 2pm-4pm?
Also as far as writing out where they are to "report to" should I just write "----'s 8th birthday party" or something like report to "Fort Phillips (our last name) or Fort Alcorn (our street name). Or maybe you can think of something better to write...boot camp at fort... or boot camp party...or (my sons name) army boot camp party at fort...
I'm sorry this probably doesn't make much sense....but please let me know which example sounds best or what you think would be good, proper wording. Thank you so much!
