military/access decal

Military decal
HAY, guys in the military or work in a controlled area where do you have your post access decal placed on your bike.

I am a fort bragg and have mine on the left side top of the fork as you look down through the windscreen.

I work at NAS PAX River and i used the lid from a small clear tackle box from Walmart ($2.97)...

I cut it to fit/match my dash cover and put a small piece of velcro on each corner of the dash and on the corners of the new piece... To snug it up i installed a piece of the black door edge moulding around it...

It works great and i can remove it anytime i want...

I've topped 160 MPH on the way to work and it has never moved...

I'll post up a pic on wednesday...

btw, i like the idea of using a peice of plastic and velcroing it so i can remove it later. Im in the military in San Diego and I dont want to but obnocious sticker on my expensive italian beauty!

Thanks for all the compliments guys, it means alot. And yeah, after I stuck it to the frame I started not liking it, but once I get overseas I will come up with a way to fix it.

Interesting......I'm at Scott AFB and we don't use decals anymore. Especially, since it's always 100% ID check.
