Some of you may have remembered I asked a question about her coming while I was still in the hospital after the C-Section (June 30th) well that's scratched.

So I had heard she was coming the Friday after (Section is on Mon.) and staying until Sun.

I still didn't really want the company that quick, but knew it was her first grand baby, so I sucked it up.

We had to move back in w/ my parents mid pregnancy after hub lost his job..etc.. and my mother had taken off of work the first two weeks to spend with me and the baby/watch my older son, etc..

Well, last night I find out via email, that Friday- Sunday means the FOLLOWING Sunday..not just a weekend like we (hub and I) had thought. She sent us her itinerary.

I like her and all, but I DO not want this woman here (and my step father in law)10 days after coming home from the hospital/recuperating from the C-Sec. Honestly I could do without my parents in a lot of respects too, but this seems excessive...

cont..
My mom is upset that she took all this time off from work, and we'll have company here all day for 10 days. My hub plans on being at work after the hospital stay.. so it'll be up to us to entertain.

And I'm just not happy...and I don't know what/if I can do anything at this point.

And it doesn't help that my mom is all po'd too..She realizes I didn't have anything to do with it, but now she's trying to cancel her 2nd week of vacation, leaving me home alone to entertain.

And my MIL in the email said " I hope you're not gonna be overprotected, and not give him up...since I'm coming all this way, I plan on having him all day!!" And implied she'd take him back to her hotel/or out somewhere..

Granted he's not my first, but you're damn right I want to spend alot of time with him in the beginning

Grrrr!
For all the weirdness that is my ex's parents...atleast they gave us space when our son was born. And my ex-MIL was never this over barring.
