I had a tooth pulled that created a hole up into my sinuses. I had to have oral surgery to close the hole. As a result I was on VicodenEs for 6 weeks taking 4 to 5 a day. I ended up going through withdrawl. It has beeen 9 days since I took one. My only sympton left is upset stomach.But I take other mediactions as well so the upset could be from them. Ihave had a migraine/sinus headache for 2 days now. My insurance will only pay for so much imitrex a month so I can't burn through them or I end up paying 29 dollars a tablet. Anyhow, For the past two day I have taken sudafed, benadryl, and imitrex. I have had no relief. I am scheduled to have my thyroid taken out in 6 days. If I take a Vicoden Es pill to rid this headache then will I go through withdrawl again? I can't afford to be in withdrawl when I go in for surgery. Also after my surgery the surgeon said she gives people vicoden for pain. I have asked pharmacists and such and they all say it's hard to tell. It depenRAB on my body. What do I do?
