???midi editing software???

what software is anyone using. I downloaded tons of midi's, and anvil studio, but can't figure out how to shorten the songs to 30sec. Does anyone use Anvil Studio that knows how to do it, or is there a friendlier software out there.

Use google and look up Mp3 trim. U will be able to shorten them there. That's what i use. :thumbsup:

When you have the song up on Compose, you can tell the software to start the song (mark in) and end the song (mark out) or whatever their terminology is, from the File Menu - I think its truncate song - start and stop, or something like that. Its not as hard as it sounds. Just play with those a bit and it gets easier. I had to look a bit too, thinking it was an Edit feature, like when I edit video, but its right there in the File Menu drop down.
