I get pain in my mid-back (only on the right side of my body). It becomes more painful when I take a deep breath. A pulomonologist checked my lungs and said that they were fine. The pain is not around my spine. The pain is impeding my breathing because I feel a pressure in the area. What can I make of this?

P.S.- I am a 24 yr. old male, 5'10, 150 lbs

I don't have any answer, necessarily, but I want to tell you I have had the same thing for about a year. Very painful. All my pain is on the right side of my back, going down sometimes even into my hip.

My MRI showed degeneration in all the discs of my back, 4 herniations in my neck and a bulging disc in low back. But the pain is more in the mid-back. I don't get it.

You could try to get an MRI to see what they find out. You are kind of young, though, for back pain. Do you lift weights or work out? Maybe you injured yourself.

Hi

I've been suffering from mid-back pain since I'm a teenager, I'm 22 now.
I think I tried every possible drug on earth... no results.
The most difficult thing is to deal with it at work. I'm working in PR and I'am sitting all day long.
I also think you should do a MRI.

But to ease the pain, have you already tried alternative medicine? The days my back is hurting the most, I use pain relief patch, only made of plants. I tried several branRAB, but I think the most effective is Hao Pi and they do not have side effects.

Maybe you can try it before an operation or something...

I have been pushing for an MRI, but I can't seem to find a doctor to prescribe it for me. Instead, they are sending me to the mental health clinic (I hate it, but my insurance covers it, so if I can get it out of the way to satisfy the doctors, then I guess I have to do it.). If anyone knows a doctor in the NY area who will at least right me a referral for an MRI, I am always listening and can be reached at: * removed * Thank you for your time.
