Microsoft Word virus on the Mac? What Mac software to run to remove it?

There is a Microsoft Word Virus on the Mac. Some sort of macro virus. The problem occurs when you try to upload a Word file from the Mac to gmail.com and it says there is a virus. Other than that, it doesn't cause any harm on the Mac itself but it makes file exchanging difficult.

What software that runs on the Mac can remove this virus?
