I'm working on a computer for someone. They say it's running slow and they want me to back up all their files, reinstall windows, etc. This normally isn't a problem for me except for when it comes to databases. She isn't real computer literate, herself. She knows how her programs work to do her work. I see she uses a lot of Microsoft Access 07. Access uses it's own database inside the file, correct?

What really has me confused is in the system tray there's SQL Server Service Manager. Server says CONNIE\MSSMLBIZ. How do I check to see if this is being used actively? If it is, how do i back it up?

Also, I searched for MSSMLBIZ and it mentioned some components of MS Office '07. Maybe it was just installed by a business contact manager and she has no business contacts? Please help MS Office and Microsoft SQL people!

Thanks in advance!
When I right click and go to "About" it says Microsoft SQL Server Service Manager version 8.00.2039 Copyright 1991-2000 ?? Does MS Office Accounting Utilities use software that old still?

Anyway it looks like MS Office accounting tools is running the database. I go into the Data Tools program and there's a "Backup" button that's grayed out. I tried pausing, then stopping the sql server on \CONNIE\MSSMLBIZ and restarting Data Tools. The option is still grayed out. What now?
