Microsoft’s taking a page out of Samsung’s book and opening its own stores within Best Buy. With all of the new tech Microsoft’s developing lately, it’s no surprise that the company would want to provide an easy to access place to sell its goods to the general public. Sure, you can already get Microsoft products in a lot of stores, as well as online, but thanks to a new deal that Microsoft struck with Best Buy, you’ll now be able to get a slew of Microsoft products at your local Best Buy store. Microsoft reports that the deal outlines over 500 potential stores in the United States with more than 100 shops to follow in Canada.
These specialty Microsoft stores will be open within already established Best Buy locations. According to the report, each Microsoft store will consume 1,500 to 2,200 square feet of real estate within Best Buy and will offer a mass of Microsoft products, including Windows tablets, Xbox consoles, phones, Microsoft Office software, and Surface accessories. This should provide a good place for consumers curious about Microsoft products to get hands-on demos and  have any potential questions answered by trained Microsoft staff.
We’re not exactly sure when these stores will be available to the general public or exactly which Best Buys will be receiving them as of this time. Be sure to check back for any updates.
