Hello I have .Net Framework 3.0 Installed on my Windows Vista Home Premium HP dv6604nr laptop.
The problem is that i need .NET Framework 3.5 and SP1 and now suddenly 4.0
I HAVE TRIED MULTIPLE INSTALLATIONS so a false installation isn't the problem (one my side).
The problem occurring is that If i do update framework to 3.5/SP1/4.0 and Reset/Restart the computer like the Programs asks OR EVEN if i turn it off at anytime (after installation) it will cause a system update (Automatic System Update is OFF).
Though now is the problem. My computer has a problem with updates. It seems to no be able to boot up (load up fully) and comes to an Error Screen saying something is corrupt and The system will try to fix the error and will start to scan. after this It would then reboot and go back to the System Update Screen and update again (will go in a cycle) Unless i start the System Restore and restore to a time before I installed the new .NET Framework. I would really appreciate it if somebody could answer this for, i really need this program for work and my personal life. Thanks in advance.
