The headset is great, I love it. The sound quality is excellent for playing games and music, or both at the same time. I also use it for voice chat on MSN, Skype, etc etc.
What bothers me, is that if I play on Xfire, or record video with fraps, there is no sound. It's like the headset is it's own sound card. If I switch back to Realtek AC97, I can record the sound of the game I'm recording, but can't hear it in the headset.
My question is, is there a way to do both ? There must be a way to tie both Lifechat and the default sound card together. But as far as I know, you can only use one or the other. I guess this is the product of making the headset with a USB connector, and not a headphone jack.
I just tried something called "Quick Sound Switch", but it just allows you to switch back and forth, but not link them together.
