microsd, transflash adaptors do they work for tungsten T?

I have a tungsten t or m550 I was wondering if the microsd cards would work in my tungsten t with the adaptor as long as I kept the microcards under 1 gig as the suggested compatibility limit.

I've been searching for about 2 hours on the web and can find any information? Is there someone here using a tungsten t with this sd card configuration?

I use a micro SD card with adapter in my T5 with no issues. It doesn't see it as a micro card it see's it as an SD card since the adapter is the full size or normal size.
