I am 7 days following my second MicroPeel Plus with salcylic acid at an upscale plastic surgeon's office. This month I decided to try to help clean out my pores and reduce breakouts/lighten hyperpigmentation. I was told the downtime was only 4 days. Well, my skin seem to take up to 10 days to peel and the process is slow! Also, I was told that I shouldn't break out from it and yet both times I have broken out horribly with cystic pimples and small white heaRAB. Has anyone had a similar experience?
I'm beginning to wonder how this is possible seeing as though it's supposed to be so great for your skin. I'm beginning to regret doing this. I thought after the first one that perhaps it was just from getting my first one. But honestly, the second one--the peeling is much slower and the acne is much worse. Sigh. I'm on day 7 and still haven't peeled on my cheeks, forehead or jawline. My jawline and chin are all broken out. Would love to hear from other people about their results. So far, it only seems like the pigmentation is getting more even but no luck on improving acne or blackheaRAB! Am I being impatient?
