Hi All.
First time to post and I am very impressed with the ideas and knowledge provided.
I am wondering what would be the best for my condition and how I would go about finding anyone in the US that would provide the service. I am from Canada and have been told that the non invasive technique is not avalable in Canada since the regulators have decided that cutting is suffient ( I didn't see that on M Moore's "Sicko"). Any and all input is appreciated since I am feeling on my own here.
History - I am 47 and have had problems for about 15 years. The original MRI was a bulged L4 L5 and L5 S1 which would "slip" several times of year and cause sever pain and muscle spasm that would take 4-5 days of bed rest to recover. After recovery I could get back to sports bu would have to be careful.
In 2000 things got much more frequent and I was sceduled for surgury. I was given a 50% chance of it getting better and 20& chance of it getting worse. I diecided against the surgury.
It seemed to settle down some and I went on viaox then celebrex and continue today with 400 mg per day.
Two years ago I ruptured L3 L4 and my acivity decreased again. It is not as bad as L4 L5 which I think is the real pain and inflamtion generator. L3 L4 makes life more challanging.
I have tried most things phiysio massage and some accupunture being the most successful. DRS, chiro, inversion table, pilates and most of the gismo I own and have tried.
I think the non invsive way is much more appealing but as mention it is not available in Canada eh.
Unfortunately the last few months things seem to be getting worse again. 3 weeks down out of 6.
I have done quite a bit of research on the web but have not really been able to get any feedback on the question of who or where or how to even start the process. Laser vs endoscopic is another concern.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
