Background information:
My parents are divorced and I have to biological older brothers and a half brother and half sister who are younger then me. All but one of one biological brothers live with my mom. The two youngest ones have been like children to me. My oldest brother, the two youngest, and me drove to my dads house to pick up my other brother. My dad was planting flowers and grilling so he told us we could stay and have dinner and help him plant flowers. So we did. My mother called me while we were at my dads and told me someone stole my dog. Which was a lie because she had been threatening to get rid of my dog. Anyways I knew she was lying because she said it was a 6 year old boy and no little boy would come up in a yard and take a boxer. So when we all came back to my mothers I was telling her to come out of her room and tell me where my dog is. She wouldn't answer me or come out of her room. I opened her door and went in her room and we started arguing she finally admitted she gave it away to some man. I told her go get the dog I want it back. Long story short she called the police and told them I was threatening to kill her boyfriend. Her boyfriend lives in Texas, we live in Michigan. Police came I waited outside for them and I told them I just wanted to leave the house. I left with a cousin and stayed with my aunt for 4weeks to finish my 10th grade year of high school. I then moved an hour away to my dads house. My mother says that she doesn't want me at her house and if I come there she will call the police. I am like a mother to the two little ones and have taken care of them since I was about 8. I do not actually buy there clothes or food but I have babysat them and been around them more then my mother has. My question is, by law since I am 16, can't I still be in my mother home till I'm 18. My parents went to court so she could try to give my dad full custody but they said since I am 16 I can go to either house. I want to make sure I am allowed there even if she says she don't want me there. I believe until she takes me to court and signs off her rights or does the emancipation thing, I can still be in the house. I guess anyone who knows anything about this, please let me know. I am in Michigan so it has to be by Michigans state law.
