Michigan driving law: I think this is bull s*** but is it true u can legally drive 4

over posted limit? a friend of my told me and i dont think this is true but is it?
 
no, but it is unlikely that you would get pulled over if you are doing less than 12 mph over the limit in any state.
 
Most likely it's not worded that you can drive over the speed limit. If it was worded that way, than the speed limit wouldn't really be the "posted speed limit" ...

More likely the law is worded that if you are going 0-5 mph over the speed limit, there is no fine, so there's no point in a police officer writing a ticket for it anyway.
