I the tribute on tv last night to a great entertainer,my condolences go out to his kids and other family, My question is , why is it when something like this happens to a black person in america, All the black civil rights thumpers and preachers want to stand up and give some more racist clap trap about the poor oppressed black people and their struggles, The luther king kids, the jesse Jackson's, the black women politician, only thing missing was ophrey winfrey, Michael's real Friends in his life chose to give this show a miss, but it was to big a stage for the black spouters to miss, I don't think michael was racist in any way, and i was disappointed at all the black ranting speeches

Well, I do think the memorial could have been more racially diverse considering that Michael promoted unity of all races and religions.

RIP Michael Jackson

I never heard anything about black ranting speeches. I am white and did not get anything on that radar. It was more him overcoming obstacles and there were and still are race obstacles. If you knew what tv was like in 1968 I think you might have a better understanding of what he really accomplished. I thought this was a great service, appropriate. No black hate speech. Sorry you were offended at his FUNERAL.
