Michael Jackson Has To Much Media Coverage?

I just wanna know what people think....

Michael Jackson died. ok. Yes he has been a huge icon for years in the music seen...but really do we need this much coverage on the news about this? what pisses me off is we have troops dieing overseas every day...yet those people are not on the news....I mean is this not disgusting? The media is a joke...and is for ENTERTAINMENT not reporting real news.

Human nature that people want to read or watch items about some one they 'know'.

People felt they knew Michael from his music and performances.

It will pass over in due course when something 'more interesting' happens.

The media is indeed for entertaining, reporting what people want to know.
That is what makes news.

The families of those who die overseas in wars usually want to grieve in private and do not want to be hounded by the press. It would be more disgusting if these people were being followed around by tv crews and journalists asking how they felt wouldn't it?
