Atlas who has 17 points is only 4 points from 8th place seed Cruz Azul and with 6 points remaining Atlas has a chance to qualify. Atlas has a tough opponent Chivas and a win over them and with some fixtures in favor of Atlas then they will be just 1 point from 8th place again only if Atlas wins and Chiapas,Azul, and Toluca lose both of their last 2 games. Imagine if Atlas qualifies that would be embarrassing to every team who had more goals than Atlas. Toluca has Alonso who has 10 goals and still haven't qualifies.
