need your help guys....metro pcs messenger flashed to cricket everything works except mms...refreshed account and all that....wap is working....but cant get mms still...


any ideas?

and would anyone have a full cricket bin for the r450?

i can't even et wap to work, have searched high and low for a tut on the messenger phone but have found nothing. can someoone please explain how to et cricket wap working on this phone. i have flashed a metro messenger to cricket. just need the wap to work.
 
why won't anyone with wap working post the settings an help out. i've been messing with this phone for two weeks and the bin file from cricket does not show any files when i try to use it so i am proramming manually. you have wap working? can you help me out. i get cannot resolve hostname
 
push "ok" go to messages menu...send message, inbox, outbox..etc...
push * and a menu will appear that says "lock code"
type 450667....it should work...
and change the "MMSC Domain" and domain 2 to http://mms.mycricket.com/servlets/mms
.........than change the "UAProf" to http://mms.mycricket.com/sam-r450.xml
AUTH Mode-commercial
mms user agent-sam-r450


it should work...i got the phone from a friend ...its a cricket phone ...those were the settings that were there ... so yea if you need the pocket MMSC settings its almost the same ....wherever it has the "mycricket" change it to "pocket" and that should do it ...ask me anything if you have problems ..or email me [email protected]
 
Just flash the bin with PST.

After completed, dial 47*68#13580 then 073

After reboot, write the prl with PST and you should be fine.

My Durab*ss did this and now i have a message across my screen that says initial programming needed.... thinking it would flash my phone to cricket..... im not entirely knowledgable on this flashing thing... somebody wanna help mepush "ok" go to messages menu...send message, inbox, outbox..etc...

ok my bad i have the samsung messAger phone thats red and black... its flashed to cricket now and the internet and picture messaging doesnt work. can anybody help me its flashed from metro to cricket.

Now for the answer to your question....

I have had these and at the end of the full flash, I typed in 47*68#13580 then 073. This resets the phone to defaults for cricket.

After that, I went into Samsung PST and adjusted the settings accordingly for data, wap, and mms.

I hope that helps. If not, refresh your account. That is usually a pretty good solution too.
 
i went and had my phone flashed at a store. now im not knowledgable really at all on this stuff i just want my internet and picture messaging to work. if you could give me a call and maybe help me out i would appreciate it. my e-mail is jcounts512#@yahoo.com ill give you my nuraber when you e-mail thanks in advance....
