Cantankerous Happy Face

Hi guy,
new member here!
I just stumbled across this great informative site and I was wondering about your experiences or suggestions with 2 carriers I have in mind.
Metro PCS and Page Plus.
I understand that PP is under the verizon network and I wad comparing their prepaid plans with Metro which of course most of you already the cheapest is $40 a month.
About myself, college student and work in information security, although I don't talk substantially, there are times when I have clients and businesses to deal with.
Now, I am just the type of guy that wants reliable service.
On average I talk just enough to make me want to get an unlimited plan with Metro but I don't text alot and having second thoughts because of the horrible service and cs people been having.
I was comparing PP and metro PCS and I was also looking at PP talk and text 1200 plan which might seem perfect for some who doesn't even text alot, I want something useful and practical in contrast to flashy and useless.
So my question is,
will it be just worth it to pay the extra $10 for the $40 plan with metro? Or should I stick with PP tnt 1200?
I have heard mixed reviews on both and have no idea which one would be better in terms of cost and reliability. So I thought I would come here and seek the opinion/advice of the experts here and their experiences.
Much help is appreciated!
