I have one of the soundtracks for that game (there are two, I believe).

The level with the mining carts and the crazy green jumping ninjas had music. I don't remember the stage number.
And some of the ending songs accessible from the soundtest mode (you need a code) were awesome, too.

Some band came through town about a year ago, whose thing was covering old video game music. The Ninja Gaiden selections were soooo cool.
Empire Strikes Back for GBC had awesome music too, although some of it was just the licensed music.

It used to take me a few tries to get it right. Some of the music is really cool, tho, and I never heard it in the game. Maybe cuz I couldn't ever get past the last stage.
