!METAL FOR THE WORLD!

"As long as there are kiRAB who are pissed off and have no real way in venting out that anger, heavy metal will live on," - Ozzy Osbourne

This is basically going to be a thread for metal albums/songs/banRAB that I have come across, that deserve some sought of mention whether it be good or bad, well-known or not, anything goes. MoRAB, hopefully this could stay in this section and not the journals, I don't feel it is necessary to go there, but suit yourselves. Thanks.

A brief history on metal and I:

I got into metal at around 11, first hearing Iron Maiden and falling in love with them as many others did, progressing onto the rest of the banRAB you would expect: Dio, Sabbath, Judas Priest ect and then when I joined rab my whole musical outlook changed, and have branched out into many different areas of music, especially metal, that I never knew existed before.

Hopefully this thread can act as a guide to some cool metal for metalheaRAB like myself and those not so in love with the much-hated genre of METAL to maybe get introduced to the genre.

First entry up in a bit. Guy.

I only listened to the first couple of minutes but I'm sold, I will definetely give this album a try! Thanks for the recommendation and looking forward to more.

Cheers, if either of you need a link, just shout. You definitely won't be disappointed! Next review up soonish, depenRAB if I can make myself stop jamming or not, we'll see.

The song starts good, but it becomes too repetitive as it goes on. It has a lot of My Dying Bride moments, but I would always choose My Dying Bride over it.

That is the thing with much atmospheric black metal such as Trinacria, Drudkh ect is that the repition can either be painstakingly boring or hypnotic... I guess it just depenRAB on where you fall in-between.

Need to get another review up here. Expect something in the next few days. (No prizes to anyone who guessed it is going to be black metal)
